Do you love diving and want to share it with others? Do you want to travel the world and meet new people? Do you want a career that’s rewarding and fun? As a PADI Instructor you’ll be able to do all of this and more. There is no better time than now to make the change, take the challenge and become a PADI Instructor by joining our PADI IDC in Phi Phi!
The ONLY PADI IDC Center on Ko Phi Phi
Here at The Adventure Club we are the ONLY PADI IDC centre on Phi Phi and you’ll be taking your IDC with our PADI Gold Course Director Bent Posejpal. Bent has over 20 years of experience teaching PADI courses and is probably the most experienced Course Director in Thailand so you can rest assured that you will be learning from the best. Bent is a passionate educator, a lot of fun and has a supportive and engaging approach to mentoring – once you start your PADI IDC in Phi Phi you’ll never look back.
Through our years of experience we know that how important a positive learning environment is and that’s why we have custom-built air-conditioned classrooms for you to study in. Our confined water sessions take place just a step of the beach and Phi Phi’s world class dive sites and marine life are right on our doorstep.
Koh Phi Phi is in the heart of the Phi Phi National Park which covers an area of almost 400km². It’s an area of stunning natural beauty with a relaxed vibe, which makes it the perfect place for learning. What could be better than studying on a white sand beach over looking the ocean?
One of the highlights of taking your IDC on Koh Phi Phi is that you’ll experience life on a tropical island and everything you need is close at hand. There is accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes and in the evenings you’ll enjoy beautiful Thai (or western) food, watch the sun set and meet the welcoming locals.
During your IDC at The Adventure Club you’ll not only enjoy some amazing dives, you’ll be making friends from all over the world – friendships and memories which will last a life time. You’ll leave The Adventure Club as a confident and able PADI Instructor and the world will literally be your oyster!
To take the PADI IDC on Phi Phi you’ll need to be a PADI Divemaster, certified as an Emergency First Response Instructor – which you can do here as part of your IDC, have at least 60 logged dives (you’ll need 100 dives to take the Instructor Exams) and be medically fit for diving.
Not yet a PADI Divemaster? Not a problem.
Here at The Adventure Club we run PADI Divemaster Internships which you can take prior to your IDC. Taking the Divemaster training and IDC back to back is a great way of consolidating your learning and you’ll really feel like part of the team and gain an invaluable insight into life in the diving industry!
To sign up for a Divemaster Internship on Phi Phi you’ll need to be a PADI Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder, at least 18 years old and have 40 logged dives.
If you are not sure if becoming a PADI Pro is the right choice for you, why not ask the experts? Send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your current certification level and number of logged dives and we’ll get back to you with your next steps and the options available to you here on Phi Phi.
