PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is for students who have completed the PADI Open Water Diver Course or any other entry level diving course. This PADI dive course focuses on expanding your diving experiences and building the knowledge from your PADI Open Water Diver course.
5 adventure dives
Courses start any day.
The course is split into 2 parts:
Students complete the knowledge review with the aid of the Adventures in Diving manual
Students perform the skills for each of the 5 Adventure dives
07.00 AM: Adventure Dives 1 and 2
07.00 AM: Adventure Dives 3 and 4
Adventure dive # 5 can be done on day 3 or in case the night dive option is selected can be done on any of the evenings of day 1, 2, or 3.
Theory classes are conducted in our air-conditioned classrooms
Unlike the open water course there are no long video sessions
Adventure dives are conducted at the Bida islands and Phi Phi Ley Island
Includes: Adventures in Diving Manual, Full diving equipment, Tea, coffee and water, Lunch and fruit, PADI instructor, PADI certificate, National Park fees, Insurance
Pick up service is not included. Guests need to make their own way to our dive center for the trip meeting point.
(Part 1): Theory
Students are required to answer the questions in each knowledge review with the use of the Adventures in Diving Manual. The manual is available online if students wish to study in advance of arriving.

(Part 2): Open Water Dives
There are 5 Adventure dives in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. The course will take 2-3 days depending upon which dives are selected.
There are two dives which are compulsory:Deep Diver
You may pick 3 elective dives from these options:
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search and Recovery
Computer and Multilevel
Enriched Air (Nitrox)
Must be over the age of 15 years
Must be healthy to dive
Must be a certified open water diver

This form is required to be completed at the beginning of each PADI dive course. If the student has any medical issues that are in this form, he/she will need a physician to complete the 2nd page of the form declaring the student fit to dive. A doctor’s certificate is not needed if the student has no history of any of the medical issues listed.
